Bret van Roden is a multitalented mariner with an accomplished history of captaining, managing, and selling yachts. Gaining initial exposure to the yacht market during a three and a half year circumnavigation in 2009, Bret began his career as an cruising owner before becoming a professional charter captain for catamarans throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Northeast United States. He has captained all the major charter brands including Sunreef, Lagoon, Fontaine Pajot, and Bali. With over 15 years of experience yachting on the water and coaching owners on purpose specific purchases. Bret is a wealth of knowledge for any prospective buyer, charter guest, crew, or current owner. Bret has held corporate positions in finance, international sourcing, and management, applying these skillsets to Yacht programs, whether private, charter, or light charter usage. He is currently a partner in Yacht Collective, an internationally recognized charter management company with locations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the US Virgin Islands.
